We are fully prepared to give our customers a choice of extended product offering,” said Rahul Deshmukh, Managing Director, RD Mining Equipments Pvt Ltd while speaking on the current trends in mining equipment segment.

R.D. Mining Equipments Pvt Ltd is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. It is one of the distinguished manufacturers, exporters and suppliers of crushers, vibrating grizzly feeder, vibrating screens, mobile crusher plant, vertical shaft impactor and turnkey crushing and screening plant. Here, Deshmukh also shares his views on the current trends and factors driving the procurement decision making.

Buying factors
According to Deshmukh, latest technology product, product support by manufacturer and availability of service support close to project sites are the major factors a buyer should consider before making a decision of buying mining equipment.

Delivery, financial support – driving factors
Focusing on the factors driving the procurement decision making apart from pricing, productivity and durability, Deshmukh says, “Delivery of the crushing and screening plants and financial support available from manufacturer are the factors driving the procurement decision making. We have recently launched 50 to 200 TPH sand plant to fulfil the need of sand requirement in lieu of river sand to give our customers a wider choice.”

He adds, “To ensure higher availability of the plant we will shortly launch a full-fledged training centre at our factory in Nasik. Our aim is to train plant operators who are the real users of the machines. These training programs will be tailor-made to suit the requirements of the people who are attending a particular training program and would include training on troubleshooting, optimal operation of the machines and plant performance.”

Lease or buy?
Deshmukh observes, factors such as operating cost of the plant and requirement of aggregates for the project a buyer should consider while determining whether to rent or buy mining equipment. “How fast the contractor can mobilise and operate the plant to fulfil the need is also critical,” he said.

Why RD Mining?
Talking about the USP of RD Mining Equipments, Deshmukh says, “We offer the single window services like, latest technology product, financial support, low operating cost, high productivity, training to the operators and maintenance staff. We also offer the plants on rental basis. We are extending our support to customers located in remote areas and also across the country.”

There is increased requirements of product support from the customers for installation and commissioning of the plant in the shortest time possible followed by minimal equipment downtime. “Based on our long expertise of erecting and commissioning plants at home and abroad, the recent one being in Africa, we are well positioned to erect plants at the shortest time,” concludes Deshmukh.
