Qu – Con is one of the pioneers in KZ zero leak gate, globe and smart control valve which are excellent for high temperature thermic oil transfer. These valves even at high temperature do not leak from anywhere including gland packings (where all other valves leak).  The smart electronics, motorised control valves control process   temperature is precisely to 1.50C accuracy.
Qu-Con valves are painted with high temperature red paint which do not burn off even at 350 deg c and all the products carry unconditional 24 month warranty against not only material /workmanship but also against performance. Qu-Con  offers  KZ  Zero leak high temp globe /gate  valves  for  very very  hot Hydrocarbon / thermic oil applications for use up to 3850C in sizes from 12 mm  to  300 mm in pressure class #150 and #300. They are mainly cast carbon WCB valves in leakage class V. The KZ zero leak technology was brought and implemented in India in 1994 by developing zero stem leak globe valves with an American support.
KZ zero leak high temp valves incorporate special design feature and metallurgy to counter differential thermal expansion, softening of seat, reduction in compressive strength, erosion, galling, flaking and other problems associated with very high temperature media handling. The gland leakage associated at such high temperature is taken care of by using KZ-2, a unique reusable self moulding self lubricated universal gland packing which is capable of handling hot media in excess of 5500C. This gland packing can expand radially to any extent and do not set or harden at elevated temperature. The packing is self-lubricated and do not need mother liquid for its lubrication, hence KZ-2 gland packing can truly give zero leakage through gland even at high temperature. These valves are already in use in chemical, petrochemical, textile process plants, pharmaceutical industries, paper, pulp industries, power plants, plastic/rubber industries and other varied industries using steam and hot hydrocarbon / thermic oil. The valves are being regularly exported as part of OEM equipment with boilers, textile machinery and other chemical process equipments.
