In recent years, bauma CONEXPO INDIA has become an important platform for the sector to witness new global technologies and innovations. We are proud to say that bauma CONEXPO INDIA has become the preferred sourcing platform across the construction and infrastructure industry as it provides the opportunity to see the latest products and solutions from all over the world. bauma CONEXPO INDIA will continue to work towards bringing state of the art products, solutions and brands to the show. In your opinion, how will the local market develop in the medium term?
The latest union budget has laid down a lot of emphasis on infrastructure development and has allocated large funds for its development. The budget allocation for railways, roads and irrigation will drive the construction equipment sector. The sector is expecting a strong double digit growth with an estimation to reach to over 80,000 units by 2020 from its current levels of 52,900 units. This demand will be largely driven by the roads sector, mining and urban infrastructure development. bauma CONEXPO INDIA will definitely be a contributor to this growth story by bringing all stakeholders from the private and government sector under one roof.
