Caliber offers a good range of conventional cast steel globe valve for practically all process fluids. They are of outside screw and yoke type with bolted bonnet construction.
They are having flanged ends connection for easy fitment and maintenance. These valves are designed as per BS 1873 for a rating of ND 40 and tested as per ND 40/ANSI B 16.5 Class 150 as the case may be. These valves are available from 15 mm to 200 mm NB, and the company can offer these vales with IBR certificate in Form III C also.
The body and bonnet are of ASTM A216 Gr. WCB and the seat and disc are CS hard faced with 13 per cent cold roll steel for wear resistance. The spindle and other trim are of 13 cold roll steel, and the yoke bush is of alloy iron, easy and convenient handles are of cast iron. The gland packing is totally asbestos free and 100 per cent mechanically and thermally stables graphite.
These valves are universal in their application. They are used for isolation and regulating duty cycles and particularly useful for saturated steam and thermic fluid services.
