Dextra provides stainless steel bars and alloy steel bars for roofing, canopy, foot over bridges and fly over bridges.

These bars give better aesthetic look to the structure over the traditional system. It requires less space to accommodate and also allows adjustment of structural deflection. Sagging correction by rotating turn buckles is possible in this bar. Being produced in high grade steel, it requires less tonnage, hence self weight is minimum. Sizes of these bars range from 16 mm to 164 mm diameter and steel grade from 355, 500 and 700 N/mm2. It complies with BS EN 1993, ANSI/AISC 360-05, AS 4100.
Dextra tension bars are normally delivered without any specific finish when considered sacrificial thickness as specified in EN 1993 part 5 otherwise paint, galvanisation can be made as per requirement.

Compression Strut
Dextra has also developed compression strut to take the compression forces wherever required in structure. They are available in various capacities and diameters.

Structural component such as nuts, forks, spades and pins are all individually marked with a lot number that enables full traceability.
Traceability of bars is achieved through both the mill certificates and the certificates of compliance provided together with the delivery notes.
