How has Fronius India expanded its operations and improved accessibility for customers in different regions?
Our customer intimacy strategy enables us to maintain a strong connection with our customers and understand their requirements. By adhering to the customer intimacy strategy, we remain closely connected to our consumers, enabling us to provide efficient solutions. In the past, Fronius India was solely present in Pune for a small welding trial; however, we now receive jobs from all across the country. With our expanded operations, customers from Delhi no longer need to travel to Pune, as we have comparable facilities and talent in Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, and, in the future, Hyderabad and Jamshedpur.

How do you evaluate the need to improve efficiency in the welding practices?
To enhance equipment efficiency, Fronius has developed a solution to streamline operations. Instead of using separate machines for different processes in a single job, Fronius offers a single machine capable of performing all three processes. This innovation significantly improves machine usage and availability and facilitates fabrication.

Compared to the time-consuming setup required for three machines, the single-machine solution offers seamless switching between electrode welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding. By simply changing the torch, the transition takes a mere 10 seconds, optimising overall efficiency. Additionally, this approach reduces customers’ investment costs, conserves valuable shop floor space, and minimises the need for extensive cable work.

How is Fronius contributing to meeting green and sustainability requirements?
At Fronius, we strongly believe in the paramount importance of sustainability, which we strive to achieve through user-friendly and straightforward solutions. Our solar inverters are meticulously designed to ensure reliable performance for 20 years, effectively harnessing available solar energy. Even if our inverters can produce only 10 percent of the daily units throughout their 20-year lifecycle, they would surpass market availability.
