GARNET 
Super Garnet by V V Minerals is a non – metallic naturally obtainable mineral abrasive mined from the beaches of the Gulf of Mannar. The grains have a unique curved cubical form as a result of hundreds of years under wave action. During mining and processing there is no grinding or breaking of particles. Hence, Super Garnet is a genuine virgin almandine garnet belonging to the gem family. Almandine garnet is the heaviest and hardest of garnets, and can withstand more cutting speed and maintain low dust levels. With its crystalline shape giving a fast cutting action and longer life span, Super Garnet is highly efficient and effective as an abrasive.

Eco – Cut Garnet
Claiming to be a leading exporter of Garnet, VVM has taken a new stride in the mining and processing of Eco-Cut Garnet.

As the Eco-Cut Garnet is a product from river deposits, it is utterly free from beach placer contaminants and salinity. Owing to its superior density and high hardness, the breakdown level becomes low and it can be recycled many times without detriment to the environment. Also, the eco-cut garnet is a newly fractured material which retains its sharpness because of its newness. Eco-cut is environment friendly and economical as less consumption of the company’s products covers more area.

ILMENITE
Ilmenite is a placer mineral found only in some parts of the world. It has a great demand for many industries for its utilities vary from pigment industry to steel industry. V.V. Mineral started production of Ilmenite in early 2000 in anticipation of the granting of the export license and the first Ilmenite was delivered to our customer in October 2000. The production capacity now stands at 500000 metric tonnes per year and is expected to rise steadily as market conditions allow. V V Minerals currently produce several grades of high quality sulphate grade Ilmenite which are becoming increasingly sought due to their ideal characteristics of good digestibility combined with low contained Fe203,U, Th, Cr2O3 etc.

RUTILE
Rutile is another major titanium ore used in manufacturing of titanium dioxide pigments, titanium metal, a high-tech alloy owing to its light weight, high strength and resistance to corrosion. Though Rutile is a reddish mineral, it appears to be black to the naked eyes.

VVM is the first Private Rutile manufacturers in India catering to the needs of welding electrode industries. Easily grindable owing to its optimum sizing, is a special characteristic of V V Minerals.

ZIRCON
Zircon, normally a transparent beige coloured glassy mineral, finds its place in many an industrial application worldwide. Starting from ceramic tiles and refractories to a range of high-tech applications, Zircon compounds have a very low toxicity and are not perceived as a potential environmental threat.

VVM’s zircon sand, otherwise OpaZr, is the unique product known for its higher whiteness and commendable durability.
