PERI Duo was launched in India during bauma Conexpo India 2016. The product has been a big hit since then as it is seen as a potential replacement for the conventional formwork used, claims Raj Lakhani, Managing Director, PERI India Pvt Ltd. PERI Duo has a wide range of applications. It is a flexible formwork system for walls, columns and slabs using the standard panels. It is being used for many residential and commercial projects. Apart from this the system has also been used for flyover piers and other infrastructure applications. Low cost housing segment is seen as a major growth driver as PERI Duo can be efficiently used for such building structures. It is also being used for retaining walls, shear walls. It is possible to cast up to 4.05 metres height walls in one go. PERI Duo is currently being used in across India for both mid-rise and high-rise projects. Apart from columns and walls PERI Duo is being used for slab with early striking mechanism to achieve faster cycle time. It is also suitable for shear walls and lift core walls having formwork height of 4.05 metres without requiring any steel walers.
