How is your company aiding efficiency in the conventional procurement processes?

What are the different ranges of products that you offer on ShakeDeal?
ShakeDeal offers products across broad verticals such as MRO (maintenance, repair and operations), office and housekeeping, warehouse and packaging and corporate gifting. We have over five lakh SKUs (Stock keeping units) and cater to over 40+ categories of indirect spend.

Do you also launch exclusive products which are offered only on ShakeDeal?
We often work closely with our vendor partners to develop and offer unique products that are exclusive to our customers. We do this by evaluating buying behaviour and innovating collaboratively with our partner stakeholders. So far, we have launched exclusive products in categories such as safety, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment.

What kind of pricing advantage does a client will get by using your platform?
ShakeDeal has a proprietary sourcing engine along with a proprietary pricing intelligence tool that enables best real time market pricing to be made available to our clientele. This comprehensive tool gives us the ability to ensure our customers are always able to get the best prices and hence assured savings.

How are you managing the warehousing and logistics facilities, when it comes to storing and delivering the products?
The company has been able to be extremely capital efficient by using an asset-light JIT and drop ship fulfillment model. We have a network of cloud FCs (fulfillment centers) through which we fulfill and process orders across India. We have partnerships and integrations with over a dozen LSPs (logistics service providers) that help in carrying out first mile, long haul and last mile operations. With our A+ vendors, we also use a consignment model where the vendor’s high velocity inventory is managed by us.
