The Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Company plant was set up at Nizwa having machinery and technical collaboration with leading Italian companies. The plant uses locally available raw materials with frits, glazes and pigments are imported from leading manufacturers in Italy and Spain. Our plant is capable to produce 3 million sq. mtrs. of tiles. We also have a separate third firing unit to produce excellent quality of border tiles.The tiles are being tested for sizes, tolerance, strength and atmosphere, chemical and thermal resistivity.
 
Quality Standards
Quality standard of the tiles manufactured by Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Company complies with British Standard B.S. 6431/1984 and European Standard EN87: 1991.
 
Wall Tiles are in accordance with B.S 6431: Part9: 1984/EN 159: 1991, dust pressed Ceramic Tile/Group B III and
Floor Tiles are in accordance with B.S 6431: Part 8: 1984/EN 178:1991, dust pressed Ceramic Tile/Group B II b.
