Unveils a series of initiatives, including an on-road-service app and on-site support to partner mining and construction customers.

Commercial vehicle manufacturer Eicher Trucks & Buses, a brand from VE Commercial Vehicles, has launched its new 100 per cent uptime program for select products in the construction segment.

“With our comprehensive offerings meeting today’s business challenges in transportation, we can help our customers to improve their productivity and profitability more effectively and with our newly launched offer ‘Think 100% Uptime’ for select products in construction segment we are raising the bar on service to aim at what we call customer delight. Through our unique container site support model and on-site service vans we are taking service to customers door step. The truck no more needs to visit a workshop for repairs; it is the workshop that visits the truck,” said Rama Rao A S, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Eicher Heavy Duty Trucks, VECV.

Eicher has also introduced a unique App – EOS App that would help customers log in emergency calls from their smartphone and track the response of the GPS enabled EOS vans. It is almost like booking a cab using smartphone.
