The Scrapper Mechanism Self Cleaning is used for preliminary filtration using the same differential pressure principle. Cleaning the element is as simple as rotating the knob or outside shaft handles manually or with a geared motor. Contaminants from the element surface are removed with a brush or scraper blade and collected at the bottom, where they can be easily drained.

OPERATION
The cleaning medium is guided into the filter by an inlet that runs from inside to outside through the cartridge gap. The filtered fluid exits the filter housing from the top, opposite the inlet connection, and the larger solids settle on the surface of the triangular cartridge wires. After a certain amount of time, impurities clog the cartridge gap and the differential pressure reaches the pre-set value. The PLC then inspects the signal and sends an indication. The scraper is driven by the gear motor, and the particles or agglomerates are skimmed from the surface, allowing the cartridge to function properly and keeping the cartridge gap clean.

When the impurities at the bottom of the filter increase, the drain valve opens and the impurities are successfully emptied, allowing the system pressure to return to normal. The rotational scraper drains impurities from the filter with the help of the gear motor due to its well-positioned position and optimal scraping angle. This alleviates the burden of disassembling and washing the cartridge, resulting in successful medium filtration. The scraper system consists of a stator, PTFE scraper and spring that are designed for automatic cleaning and, in
particular, for a reasonable spring pressure that minimises cartridge abrasion.
