Gravent ventilators can be used to achieve natural ventilators in industrial buildings.

This involves air movement induced by pressure differentials between the inside and outside of the building. The pressure differentials are caused by a temperature difference, which creates the “Stack Effect,” and the external wind blowing around the building. The height of the building and the sensible heat gain from various sources contribute to the temperature difference. Windward faces are subject to positive pressures while leeward faces are subject to negative pressures due to the effect of the external wind. Modern industrial roofs with USE slopes of about 5 to 12 are always under negative pressure (uplift).

We specialise in designing ventilation systems that are customised to the requirements of each project. Our expertise in this area has been developed over thirty years of experience, allowing us to accurately predict the performance of the Gravent ventilation system.

The Gravent natural ventilators are static and create an all-weather opening in the roof, while minimising friction losses through the ventilator. They are available in both traditional and low-profile designs, with the latter imposing minimal loads on the roof structure, allowing them to be fitted to any type of roof sheet and structure.

The use of Ridge type and low profile GRAVENTS has been prevalent since the 1980s and 1990s, respectively. They have demonstrated their effectiveness in various industries, such as heavy steel and glass, automobile and general manufacturing, and garment manufacturing units, among others, with a substantial installation base across India. Our Ventilation System Design for Gravent is an accurate, first-principles- based method that considers the sensible heat load in the building. Apart from Gravent, we also stock aluminum and other nonferrous metals and serve as consignment agents of M/s. Hindalco Ltd. We have a broad selection of nonferrous materials readily available in our inventory for prompt service.
